Biography
Annie Hetzel, MSN, RN, NCSN is the Washington Office of the Superintendent for Public Instruction School Health Services Consultant. She is a registered nurse with 32 years’ experience in hospital, home care, and school nursing. She earned a master’s degree in nursing education from WGU in 2014. She was the School Nurse Corps Administrator at Puget Sound ESD for 5 years before joining OSPI as School Health Services Consultant on October 1, 2020. She has a passion for issues of race equity, mitigating adverse childhood experiences, and promoting resilience.
