Biography
In my current position as the Director of Student Health Services for the Colorado Department of Education and State School Nurse Consultant, I have the privilege of working side-by-side with the amazing 700+ school nurses in Colorado. My responsibilities involve promoting safe and healthy learning environments for students in Colorado, and include providing consultation, guidance, training and technical assistance to school nurses, school communities, community partners and stakeholders.
My life passions orbit around all things related to family, friends, creativity and adventure! If I am not working, you might find me with my family, with a pair of knitting needles, in front of a sewing machine or piano, on a bird walk, traveling, in the garden, or any combination of these.
